CHESNEE - James Robert Valentine, 59, of 1587 Fairfield Road, died Friday morning, Aug. 14, 2009, at his home. Husband of Mattie Dunn Valentine, he was born in Cleveland County, N.C., a son of Mattie Watkins Valentine and the late Jesse Ray Valentine. He was a member of Suck Creek Baptist Church.
